JORDAN ENGINEERS ASSOCIATION (JEA) is the largest professional organization in Jordan with about 135,000 members.  The main goal of JEA is to promote the engineering profession and protect the interests and of its members.

JEA established (13) local engineering councils in all Jordanian governorates and more than (20) representative committees and offices around the world to run the official, financial, professional, and social activities for engineers and their families.

In Saudi Arabia, more than 25,000 Jordanian engineers are working in different big firms and companies with many leadership and managerial positions in addition to different engineering engagements.  This is due to the high quality and sincere commitments of Jordanian engineers on there positions.

JEA-EAST, a representative body of JEA in the Eastern Province of KSA, was established in March 2005, and working closely with The Saudi Engineering Council (SEC).  JEA-EAST is serving about 5000 members and their families.  Two other committees are working in both Riyadh (Central) area, and Jeddah (Western Province).

JEA focuses in three main directions:

1.      To provide all necessary JEA membership services such as registration, inquiries, and other issues.

2.      To promote professionalisms of our members through organizing and delivering training courses for building administrate capabilities and professional specialties such as (PMP, Self-development at Workplace, Finance for non-finance people, Leadership and Team Building Skills, Report Writing Skills, and many others.

3.      To provide social and entertainment environment to members and their families through organizing and running social gathering and entertainment activities for members and their families.  Examples of there activities are Hajj and Omara trips, football and other sport tournaments, participation in marriage and condolences occasions, and others.

JEA-EAST mother committee consists of (7) members and (12) subcommittees with about (100) members all working as volunteers.  Willingness to participate, care-giving, and gaining experience are motivating our members for work with JEA.  This makes our activities and the member participations are continuously increasing.

JEA-EAST has developed over the last (10) years partnerships and collaborations with many local companies from all branches of industry and business (ZamilAC, MISCO, MATCO,SSP,RADICON-GULF,QCS, AKHolding, SaudiCast, CT, MELI).  We are working towards any collaboration with other professional organizations, companies, and non-engineering individuals.
